I love the title! It was a good read- it sounds like you will love it!

I do like literary genre fiction eg Margo Lanagan. I love literary writing, it’s more the non-genre part that puts me off.

I’m sorry to hear you usually find literary novels dull. I think there are some excellent ones around, although I admit they do tend to be slower in a plot sense than most genre novels. Some of Margaret Atwood’s novels have their feet firmly in sci-fi but are still literary – those are my favourite kind.
